Worldly Perspective
From the world’s perspective, a person’s success defines their worth. Being born into the correct family can significantly influence your place. I have found that individuals develop according to their personalities, family relations, education, and opportunities.
God’s Perspective
I also find my worth being born to the correct parent, but this parent, for me, is God. With God as my Father, I have learned that success in this world is necessary to purchase food and clothing and pay for our house payment, but this success does not define my self-worth.
Self-worth
My self-worth is because I am a child of God, and He cherishes me. He does not love me because I am perfect; He cherishes me because His Son, Jesus Christ, paid the full wage for my soul. All of my imperfections are covered in the adoption contract and sealed with the blood of Jesus.
Renewing the Mind
His welcoming love and complete acceptance are the reasons I am transforming. If God had not chosen me when He did, I would have been just another worldly statistic instead of a miracle baby.
