The Truth

Turn to God

Unmasked

Growing up in a highly dysfunctional family, where substance abuse and violence were prevalent, was already a significant challenge. In addition to that, I encountered several other obstacles, including dyslexia, a lack of education, and self-consciousness due to amblyopia. Among all these challenges, the one that troubled me the most was the state of my family and the role of God in it. Initially, I attempted to conceal my shortcomings by projecting a false image. However, when this facade failed to mask my true self, I came to realize that my struggles were actually a blessing. Unable to find fulfillment externally, I turned to God for answers. Supported by my counselor the Holy Spirit, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Ultimately, I found what was missing: a deep connection with my Father. Embracing the abundance of God’s love, I no longer felt the need to hide my true self. Knowing that I am a beloved child of the Creator, I am nurtured by grace as I continue to grow and evolve.

… “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will
know the truth
, and the truth will make you free.” (Joh 8:31-32 WEB)

The Truth

Jesus proclaims that if you have faith in Him and follow His teachings, the Holy Spirit will come and dwell in you, leading you towards true freedom. This is not just empty words coming from a human perspective, but a deep declaration from the Creator of the universe.

“However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.” (Joh 16:13 WEB)

Mind – Will – Emotions

  1. The mind is where thoughts are formed and stored.
  2. The will is where you act based on your thoughts and emotions.
  3. Emotions, where pain, pleasure, joy, and sorrow are formed.

Spirit of Adoption

As an adopted child of God, you have an opportunity to live a life liberated from the weight of fear. This includes the fear of rejection, failure, punishment, and shame. The journey of transformation takes time, patience, commitment, and a humble spirit as you continue to develop your relationship with the Divine. It’s important to acknowledge that while each person’s walk with the Lord is unique and personal, there is a common path we all follow: the teachings found in the Word of God. This sacred scripture serves as our guiding light, providing wisdom and direction in times of uncertainty. Additionally, we are united under the mentorship of the Holy Spirit, who guides us through both our struggles and joys, illuminating our hearts and minds. Together, we are embraced by our loving Father, who nurtures and supports us on this faith journey. As we grow and learn, we discover that the assurance of our identity as His adopted children empowers us to live boldly and authentically, cultivating a deep sense of belonging and purpose in our lives.
