Mind, Will, and Emotions
The soul was intricately crafted to resemble a magnificent tapestry, comprising three interconnected aspects: the Mind, the Will, and the Emotions. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in our being, intended to harmoniously interact within a special relationship with the Creator, whom I call the Master Weaver. However, mankind’s fall from grace profoundly affected this divine bond. As a result, our connection with the Creator was severed, and our inner selves transformed into a chaotic tangle of disconnected threads, leaving us feeling unrecognizable and fragmented. In our pursuit of independence and self-sufficiency, we often overlook the complex internal struggles that arise from conflicting thoughts and emotions. These inner battles frequently clash with the outward persona we cultivate to project self-worth and acceptance to others. To cope with the deep emptiness that arises from navigating life without a meaningful connection to the Creator, we construct elaborate masks to shield our true selves. The creation of these masks is not haphazard; they must conform to the standards and expectations of the communities we seek to belong to. Consequently, we categorize our masks based on various societal factors, including gender, race, family background, education, income level, fame, and other identifiers. This classification system adds another layer of complexity to our interactions and intensifies our disconnection from our authentic selves. Throughout history, humanity has invested significant effort into living apart from the influence and guidance of the Creator. Yet, no matter how intricate and carefully constructed our masks may be, they ultimately remain superficial facades. We have been designed to be intricate tapestries, skillfully woven together by the hand of God. It is only through reconnecting with Him that we can discover a profound sense of purpose, fulfillment, and wholeness that surpasses anything we could strive to achieve on our own. In this connection, we can begin to untangle the knots of our complicated existence and embrace the unique beauty we were created to embody.
