Common Tactics
The battle commenced in the heavens when a supernatural entity, initially designed to offer worship to God, revolted against Him. Described as God’s adversary in the Bible, this entity incited a rebellion among the angels, resulting in being banished from heaven by the faithful angels. The prophet Isaiah addresses this rebellion, emphasizing the adversary’s aspiration to be like God.
In the Garden of Eden, God created mankind in His own image and bestowed upon them dominion over the earth. It was God’s intention for humanity to have a deep and intimate connection with Him, as He would frequently stroll and converse with Adam during the peaceful evenings.
However, while in the garden, we come across the serpent’s deception, which eventually causes humanity’s downfall. Unlike the adversary, humans were granted the gift of free will. By exercising this freedom, we willingly gave up our control over the earth and ourselves to the enemy.
The Father, God Himself, sent Jesus to overcome the adversary’s dominion over humanity. According to the Book of Revelation, we come to understand that this act of sacrifice took place within our timeline, in the eternal realm, and even before the very foundations of the earth were established.
We are presented with the choice to submit to King Jesus and embrace God’s authority instead of succumbing to the influence of the adversary. In the spiritual realm, a continuous battle rages on between the adversary and his deceitful actions, and Jesus with His works of truth. It is important to note that there is no alternative option available.
