Gospels of Peace
Jesus came into the world as both fully man and fully God. He had siblings and lived a normal life, eating and working just like everyone else. He formed close friendships with ordinary men who later became His disciples. Jesus faced the common sins and temptations of His time but chose to abstain from them. He sought out broken and ostracized individuals in Israel, offering them freedom and healing. He was humble, lovable, and approachable, reflecting the nature of God the Father. Jesus shared heavenly wisdom with anyone who was willing to listen and had the remarkable ability to understand people’s hearts. Despite constant provocation from religious leaders, He remained steadfast. When Jesus corrected someone, He did so with the intention of restoring them. At the appointed time, He willingly gave up His life for the redemption of humanity. He was the holy and flawless Lamb of God, taking upon Himself all pain and suffering, enduring the full consequences of sin for all mankind, and paying the price in full. After completing His mission, He returned in glorified flesh to declare victory over sin and death. He instructed us to spread this message worldwide and provided us with the Holy Spirit for guidance and the Written Word to confirm God’s truth.
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”... (Luk 23:34 WEB)
Forgive
Forgiveness entails releasing the negative emotions that emerge from the harmful actions or inactions of others. It is important to note that forgiving does not imply condoning their behavior or accepting mistreatment. Instead, forgiveness signifies acknowledging that the person should be held accountable by God, who comprehends the entirety of their being and acts as a fair judge. Additionally, forgiveness liberates oneself from the anguish caused by their actions, allowing the offense to no longer hold any significance in one’s life. By choosing to forgive, one embraces personal freedom.
Renewing day by day
Offer gratitude to the LORD, for He is benevolent; His love endures eternally. Allow those whom the LORD has delivered to proclaim their testimony. He has redeemed them from affliction and gathered them from every corner: from the east, west, north, and south. (Psalms 107:1-3) paraphrased
"It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. “Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I will hope in him.” Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him." (Lam 3:22-25 WEB)
