Hidden Weakness
Our vulnerability as humans allows us to hear God’s voice, and our brokenness invites us to respond to the Savior’s call. Many of us instinctively recognize this initial encounter with our brokenness; it marks the beginning of our awareness of our adoptive Father, God. However, we soon find ourselves in a world that often contradicts our beliefs. The adversary, aware of our newfound freedom in God, seeks to draw us back into darkness by emphasizing our brokenness.
To shield ourselves from the shame the adversary whispers in our ears, we build barriers to protect ourselves from humiliation. This is a natural human response to avoid pain and conceal our vulnerabilities. Ironically, what initially drew us closer to God can be twisted by the adversary into a tool of shame and guilt. Such feelings can push us back into the shadows, distancing us from a closer walk with our Father God. This situation is surely a source of sorrow for our Father.
He sent Jesus to restore us and understands the tactics employed by the adversary. It’s essential to remember that God has complete knowledge of every aspect of our lives. So why try to hide anything? God knows and has already provided forgiveness. He understands even the parts of our hearts that we may overlook. His love is unwavering, Christ’s sacrifice has been fulfilled, and atonement is guaranteed.

They promptly devised garments made of fig leaves to conceal their nudity and sought refuge among the foliage, attempting to hide from God.
